i got three frames from the dollar store and spray painted them red…
and got this awesome pack of snowflakes and one of these got a red makeover also…
and i got glued the snowflake right in the middle…
then i got on my cricut and picked a j and y i liked…and since i HATE wasting vinyl..i added some polka dots….
and i got out my selection of red all from expressions vinyl….
the darker red matched perfectly…
the polka dots got rubbed onto an extra ornament i had…
added some transfer tape and stuck them right in the middle on the glass….
got out my stash of ribbon that i have stolen off of OTHER’s people presents ( after they open them of course!)
I orginally was going to leave them like this…with a ribbon above each one to hang….
but i ended up playing around with it and decided to add a strip of ribbon behind it…
snow added for fun…and cause picnik is fun!
you could also put some cute fabric or scrapbook paper behind it!
(and of course these would be cute on blocks as well!)
or you could slap some vinyl on apothecary jars
or on vases
(wrong season but you get the idea!)
or what about plates?
or onto little candle votives…
(this is just a picture i snapped at a store here in town!)
come by my blog and say hi!

I would prefer to reverse the letter image and place the vinyl on the back side of the glass for ease of cleanning.
Were did you get the snow flakes? I have been really looking for some & I love the ones you used!!!
i got the snowflakes at the dollar store! but i have seen some already colored ones at walmart and target!
Where do you buy the red vinyl?
i get all my vinyl here: http://www.expressionsvinyl.com/catalog/shopping-home.html
I just have to say you are so creative on your ideas! Thank you so much for sharing with the rest of us!!
Very cute idea! For those of us without a Cricut, how would you recommend doing the letters?
you can find a font you like and print it out…and use it as a pattern and trace it onto your vinyl!!!!
How about checking with your local Michael’s or Joanne’s…. Here, in Canada, we can use their machines to cut out letters, at a minimal cost.
Love it! Can you give me more details about how the vinyl is applied to the glass…would it work inside…what is transfer tape? Thanks!
Hi my name is Amy. I have too questions for you. How do you attach the picture frame to the ribbon?, and how would you attach wrapping paper or scrap paper to the glass? Decoupage or modge podge? I am making these as gifts for Christmas. Any advice would be great
