Pool Stuff Basket
I’m not sure about where you live, but here in Florida, we are getting ready to start Spring Break soon. For us that means spending some time in the beach and enjoying the pool.
I always want to be sure to have fresh towels and sunscreen ready for when we head out to the pool. I found this adorable plastic bucket to put everything in but it was just too plain. In comes my wonderful Expressions Vinyl permanent vinyl in white to save the day. The font I used I used can be found here.As always do not forget to reverse your words before you go to print, believe me I’ve wasted so much vinyl by not remembering! Once I cut the vinyl on my Silhouette Sd, the vinyl adhered to the basket perfectly!
Just fill it up with some matching towels and sunscreen. You could even throw in some water balloons for a little extra fun.

For an extra added touch, I took an unfinished wood sign I had that I hadn’t used for a previous project and mod podged some pretty paper to it. I used the same font as in the pool bucket, and some black permanent Expressions Vinyl. Topped it off with a pretty bow and it’s all ready to go! That way if any friends or family stop by they’ll know where to find us!
This would even make a great spring or summer gift for a friend who has a pool! Yet another reason to love vinyl. Hope you enjoyed this project and that no matter where you live, it will be warm and sunny there soon!
Please be sure to come visit me over at Two Prince Bakery Theater for more fun projects!

These are cute!
Question though…
I may be having a dumb moment…but what do you mean by reverse the words??
Great job! Love the idea!
My brain isn’t working like it usually does these days so I understand this may be a stupid question. I have worked with vinyl a lot and I don’t understand why you would reverse your letters/words on this project. I only reverse mine when I’m working with iron on vinyl. I’ve tried to imagine a situation where you would reverse regular vinyl but everything I come up with doesn’t work out in the end. Can you explain the process a little more because I’m probably missing out on a great method that I don’t know about!
thanks
