i got this awesome flocked iron on vinyl (flocked means fuzzy)
here’s a close-up…
and we are having glove week at my blog
cause…
gloves are cheap
and VERRRRY much needed in idaho
so i thought i would embellish a few gloves so my kids don’t lose them or get them mixed up with someone elses…
i hoped on my cameo…and it’s no secret that we are super hero loving fanatics…
so i pulled up these two fonts:
dc comics
and this one is hall of heroes….
to find the perfect batman symbol….
and for the iron man i just used a couple circles.
the trick with t-shirt vinyl is to flip the image cause you are really cutting the back of the vinyl (luckily these images didn’t need to be flipped….)
once it’s cut out you peel it off the mat and pull away the negative space. the vinyl comes with the transfer tape right on the top…(that’s why you cut the back)
you place it where you want…and iron right on the vinyl (i always start with my iron on low and turn it up (i also sometimes use a piece of fabric over top too….just to be safe)
then you peel off the plastic and you are ready for warm fingers!
and….
my son has been blasting everything with his new iron man gloves!
and these are for my daughter who requested butterflies!
the options are really endless…..and this stuff is pretty addicting to use!!!!

These are the bomb! I love this idea.
This is a great idea. We(my co-worker and I) are thinking about personalizing some knit hats, I was wondering how well the vinyl stretched with the knit? We are worried that it would peel.
it has a little stretch..but not much. when ironing on i would maybe stretch out the hat a tiny bit as you iron on…that way it will have a little more stretch than normal! good luck!
These gloves are just too cute! Wish I still had a little one. Maybe I’ll have to design something cool just for ME and be the envy of the office. Nice job!
LOL I love that he’s wearing a Gary’s Sewing Center hat!
im still very confused on how to do this project?
http://pinterest.com/expressionsv/t-shirt-vinyl-projects/ here are a bunch of other tutorials that go over t-shirt vinyl and this one is another one i did http://expressionsvinylblog.com/flocked-iron-on-t-shirt-vinyl-not-just-for-t-shirts/
Did you just type “dc comics” and “hall of heros” in the search on the Silhouette page? I cannot seem to get the hall of heros to come up and I am need a Captain America image.
Thank You!
dc comics and hall of heroes is a font i downloaded to my computer (from dafont i believe) before going into the silhouette studio!
